As the only one oil refinery enterprise in the South-western China, our company is the key enterprise of petrochemical industry in the Sichuan 7+3 Industrial Development Plan, as well as one of top 100 large enterprise groups supported by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government. As one of the key energy-consuming enterprises in Sichuan Province, the enterprise always focuses on the energy conservation and emission reduction to determine its sustainable development and market competitiveness as its economic benefits are closely associated with energy saving. Our Company speeds up eliminating and improving out-dated technical equipment by constantly improving energy measurement, statistics and management measures based on technical progress, as well as promotes product structure adjustment and technical equipment structure optimization through a modern process and large equipment, thereby implementing energy conservation and consumption reduction, improving labour productivity and achieving energy-saving goal based on the modern process and the large-scale equipment. By surveying and diagnosing the current production process and equipment in a targeted manner, our Company combines its practical situation to preferentially select the following energy-saving technology renovation project appropriate for its construction through technical research and feasibility study demonstration. Our Company invested RMB 41 million to implement the Technical Renovation Project for Optimizing a Flare-Gas Energy Recycling System in 2009, in which low-pressure dry gases exhausted from each process unit were recycled as fuel gases for use by implementing technical reconstruction to a flare-gas blow-down system. After the reconstruction, 30,510 tons of coal equivalents are actually saved in the Project, thereby acquiring national energy-saving technical reconstruction rewards. Our Company invested RMB 11 million to implement the Low-Temperature Heat Energy Recovery System Project in 2010, in which low-temperature heat of top recycle oil, low-temperature heat of diesel oil, low-temperature heat of oil slurry of a catalytic cracking unit were utilized to supply heat to materials to be heated, thereby saving the energy. After implementing the project reconstruction, 3,589.6 tons of coal equivalents are saved, thereby acquiring the Sichuan Provincial Energy-Saving Technical Reconstruction Award. Our Company invested RMB 15 million to implement the Regenerated Catalyst Heat Energy Recycling Project for the Catalytic Cracking Plant in 2011; after the reconstruction, 10, 288 tons of coal equivalents are actually saved, thereby acquiring the Provincial Energy-Saving Technical Reconstruction Award.
